Secondhand smoke is a public health issue, not a smoker’s rights issue.

Secondhand smoke causes cancer and heart disease.

 

Three out of four people choose not to smoke. They shouldn’t be forced to breathe secondhand smoke in public.

 

A smoker can wait to smoke; a non-smoker can’t wait to breathe clean air.

 

A smoker can always find a non-public place to smoke.

 

All workers should have the right to a safe, healthy smoke-free work place.


As a supporter of smoke-free air in public indoor places & work sites, please copy and fill out the following form and mail it to us. We also ask that you approach your friends, fellow workers, family and acquaintances, encouraging them to do the same. Then in turn, ask them to do likewise, so on & so on. Please make copies of this page, so everyone who wants to, can sign up as a supporter of smoke-free air. Eventually with everyone’s help, we hope to have enough supporters to get tobacco smoke-eliminated from all public indoor places and private worksites.
